Terms of Service (Mendly App)

By creating a Mendly account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Mendly. You must be at least 18 years old.

These terms cover the Mendly app used without a therapist. If a therapist invited you, the main Mendly terms at mendly.me/legal/terms apply instead.

Mendly is a general wellness product. It helps you record how your days go and shows you patterns in what you have recorded.

Mendly is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It does not provide medical advice, psychological advice, therapy, or crisis services. Nothing in the app — including anything generated by Mendly Plus — is a clinical assessment or a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

If you are in crisis, Mendly is not the right tool. In the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 for an emergency.

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@mendly.me if you think someone else has access. One account per person.

Your check-ins, notes, and settings are yours. You keep all rights to them.

You grant Mendly a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you — displaying it back to you, calculating your insights, and generating your weekly report if you subscribe. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

Mendly's core features are free. Mendly Plus is an optional paid subscription that adds the weekly written report.

• Sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and billed to that account
• Renews automatically until you cancel
• Cancel any time in your device's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by Mendly
• Prices shown in the app are the current prices for your region and may change with notice

Do not:

• Use Mendly for anyone other than yourself, or enter another person's health information
• Attempt to access other users' data, or probe, scan, or test our systems
• Reverse engineer the app or use it to build a competing product
• Use automated means to create accounts or submit entries
• Use Mendly in any way that breaks the law

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.

We work to keep Mendly running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue Mendly entirely we will give you at least 30 days notice, so that you can review what you have recorded and delete your account before the service ends.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings, or from mendly.me/delete-account if you no longer have the app installed. That permanently removes your profile, entries, notes, and reports. It does not cancel a subscription — cancel that through Apple or Google.

Mendly is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that patterns or insights shown in the app are accurate, complete, or meaningful for you. They are calculations over data you entered, and correlation is not causation.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mendly LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Mendly in the twelve months before the claim, or $100. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law: Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Mendly after that means you accept the new terms.
