These are illustrations of how therapists tend to set Mendly up, not clinical recommendations. You know the client; build what fits them.
A client working on sleep: hours slept (number), caffeine after 2pm (yes/no), phone in bed (yes/no), how rested they felt (1–10).
A client working on avoidance: did the thing they had been putting off (yes/no), worry today (1–10), minutes spent outside (number), talked to a friend (yes/no).
A client rebuilding routine: left the house (yes/no), ate a proper breakfast (yes/no), exercised (yes/no), hours worked (number).
For a yes/no question, Mendly compares the average mood on days the answer was yes with days it was no. For a number or a scale, it shows how closely the two move together. Patterns appear once there are enough days to compare: three yes days and three no days for a yes/no question, or five answered days for a number or scale. About a week of check-ins is usually enough to start. They show association, not cause, and are there to inform your clinical judgement, not replace it.
Yes. Questions are set per client. You can enable, disable or reorder them any time, and edit the wording of questions you wrote.
Yes. You can assign the PHQ-9, PHQ-8, GAD-7, PCL-5 or AUDIT-C to a client on a schedule you choose. They are kept separate from the daily questions, so the check-in stays short and each questionnaire is answered as published.
