SMS notifications are not currently offered. The terms below describe how our SMS program will work if and when we enable it. No text messages are being sent, and no phone numbers are being collected for SMS at this time.
Mendly offers optional SMS text message notifications to help patients stay engaged with their wellness journey. This page explains how we collect consent, what messages you'll receive, and how to opt out.
Mendly provides SMS text message services to patients enrolled in the platform. These messages are designed to support the therapeutic relationship between patients and their healthcare providers by facilitating communication and encouraging engagement with wellness activities.

SMS notifications are completely optional. You can use Mendly without enabling SMS notifications. Your decision to opt in or opt out will not affect the quality of care you receive from your therapist or your access to the Mendly platform.
If enabled, you will receive a daily reminder to complete your wellness check-in. Example:
If your birthday is on file and this feature is enabled, you may receive a birthday message. Example:
The number of messages you receive depends on your settings:

Estimated total: Most users receive approximately 30-31 messages per month if daily reminders are enabled, or 1 message per year if only birthday messages are enabled.
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:
Text STOP to any message you receive from Mendly. You will receive a confirmation:
Contact your therapist and ask them to disable SMS notifications for your account. They can do this through the Mendly platform.
Email support@mendly.me with your request to opt out of SMS notifications. Include your name and phone number.
If you previously opted out and want to start receiving messages again, text START to our number or ask your therapist to re-enable SMS notifications.

Message and data rates may apply. Mendly does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for receiving text messages based on your phone plan.

We maintain logs of sent messages for quality assurance and troubleshooting purposes. These logs include the message content, timestamp, and delivery status, but are kept confidential and deleted after 90 days.
